We all probably remember that little Sunday School chorus: “Count your blessings, name them one by one; Count your many blessings, see what God has done.” So simple, yet so true. It amazes me every time I stop and think about the ways God has blessed this ministry. And I love to hear the young people share about how God has blessed them and their families. But now it is time to turn the corner - not forgetting what God has done, but setting our sights ahead on what God is going to do this year. And I am committed to pulling out all the stops, because I want God to bless this ministry more than ever before! First, I want to make sure that all of the beds in the dormitories are full. And while we nearly filled them all this fall, there are too many young people calling and crying for help. We need to give them a chance to hear about THE answer for their lives. Second, I am ramping up every area of our outreaches. Our travel teams will be in more schools and churches and detention centers than ever before. I want God to save more souls than he did last year! Finally, I am committed to getting Camp Victory up and running this summer. It breaks my heart to hear the number of calls coming in for young children - children too young to enter the program, but who desperately need help. I am believing God for a miracle - the people and the money - to get our camp program for 8-12 year olds off the ground this year. I am so thankful for God’s blessings, and ready to watch Him pour out many more!
